For Ravinia’s annual summer gala, we took as inspiration a program cover from 1917 depicting the park at night festooned with Chinese lanterns. Replicating the feeling of picnicking on Ravinia’s lawn in the evening,  we lit the tent for 700 guests in deepest cobalt blue and brought in 20ft. tall maple trees for a verdant, canopied effect. Luxe centerpieces included seasonal fruit styled on crystal cake plates and mossy landscapes with violets surrounded by Moroccan lanterns.
