These pictures remind me of Chintz floral patterns, a perfect template for Spring… florid, blatent, vivid and in a state of flux. There is so much energy in the atmosphere now with these long, light-filled days but I read that the phrase “chintzy” refers to Chintz style floral patterns which makes no sense at all. The patterns are so lavish… and like the beauty of Spring, wild and necessary in their extravagance.
