The Garfield Park Conservatory here on the westside is a cathedral for nature worship right off the green line. I’ve never seen it being humidified before, the effect is awe inspiring. Now hurtling into feverish holiday decorating, we discovered another westside treasure right under our noses, Beret Ribbon. My favorite echevaria succulent, the velvety hybrid “Doris Taylor” is pictured below along with our fresh ribbon trove.
